About Cugino Forno Pizzeria Winston Salem

Are you ready to embark on the most affordable trip your mouth will ever take to Italy?!? Staying true to tradition, our Pizza Napoletana is as authentic as it gets! Using Mozzarella di Bufala made for us earlier in the week in a small town in Campania .. then flown in fresh .. or maybe our flour which is shipped over by boat ... no no, how about our salt which comes straight from the Mediterranean Sea! This trend continues .. for EVERY single one of our ingredients ... i know, it's the real deal! We open at 11:00am,everyday, and close as soon as the dough runs out or 9 pm... sorry, it's made fresh, DAILY! And yes, we are open on Sundays as well... So please, do us a favor and stop by to try what pizza is SUPPOSED to taste like. Grazie!

The pizza here was phenomenal. In town visiting some friends, and they took us to this spot for the brewery, and we were able to get this pizza ordered while we sat outside and drank from the brewery. Quite the 1-2 punch. The park outside the restaurant is a big open space for that children can play and ride their bicycles.

this place has a really nice and cozy look and feel! I thought this was a decent little place, especially if you are with a group of friends. There was a large outdoor area where you can eat as well as a decently sized interior. The pizza was pretty good as well, not my favorite, but still good. Ordering was a little stressful because you cannot really look at the menu until you are nearly at the front of the line, and by that point youre worrying about everyone behind you thinking you are taking too long to decide. I suggest looking online at what they offer before coming in. As far as service itself goes we were able to get in and out very quickly. I believe we got our pizza within 5 minutes, which was impressive considering how busy they were. Pizza tasted good but It was not very filling. I usually don't eat too much, but it felt like I could've finished the entire pizza by myself.

Right next to incendiary brewing. Lots of seating available. Popular even on a Monday. It’s a nice place in the old RJ Reynolds factory. They have really good pizzas. You do need to buy the whole pizza, but it’s definitely worth it if you’re splitting amongst a group of friends or are sharing with your family. Makes a great pairing with the beer offerings next door!

The pizza here is delicious! However what makes this place truly spectacular is that they will deliver the pizza to the brewery next door or you can eat outside under the train tracks. It was one our favorite parts of visiting Winston-Salem. We can't wait to go back.

2026017: My friend, Chuck, and I were traveling back from Hanging Rocks to Charlotte and stopped in Winston-Salem for pizza. Cubano Forno served authentic neapolitan pizzas. I has mushrooms and Chuck had sausage. While these were lovely, the toppings were haphazardly strewn on them so that some slices missed the main ingredients. The facility were the pizzas were made and the benches where we ate have a rustic industrial vibe that is appropriate for the locale - part of the former cigarette factory. Chuck abd I agreed that if we find ourselves back that way and want pizza we would revisit Cugino Forno.
